ok my radio was in safe mode, i have an 01 audi TT. its a cassette player. i thought i knew the code so i tried it twice and it locked up. how do i unlock it?

You will probably have to take it into a dealership for them to reset the code.
i remember reading that the code is the last 4 digits on the unit,which must be removed to read, better than the stealer$$$$
ya i read its the last 4 digits of the "AUZ" number on the deck. but i tried that and no good. the dealer ship said its the serial number on the deck. i only have 1 more try till its locked again and i dont want to have my car on for an hour again.
i also just read that as long as the unit is still in the car it will unlock on its own in a while, how long was not mentioned on the vag-com site
