Even though it took a lawsuit, it was nice to get that timing belt settlement letter in the mail today. I had mine replaced at 57K - thanks to this forum mainly - so I'm not affected, but it sure makes me more comfortable about shelling out large coin for an A6 this fall. They almost lost me to BMW.
