I bought my 2001 TT Quattro new and since day one the doors to the CD magazine and first aid kit pop open - mostly in the winter when it's cold and the plastic contracts.  I know it's not a big deal, but in the annoying department, it's a real pain.

I have a 2002 Roadster. The panel between the seats did the same thing on mine. I fixed it with some velcro. I stuck a small square to the door and another to the panel by the latch, it stays closed fine now and is still easy to open. It is worth a try.
