Go find a 2009 with a salvage title. Bring it to a mechanic to insure to existing damage is present and walk away with a 35K TT for 17K! Easy stuff if you can find one. ebay is a common place to find one.

I would consider it...
I generally don't like the first year of any new technology... but the DSG seems to have proven fairly robust.
