So I'm looking at buying a 2001-02 TT Quattro...do all of them have 225 hp?  If not how do I determine if one has 180 hp or 225 hp?  Are the 6 spds the only ones that have 225 hp?  I couldn't find a direct answer.  Thanks for any assistance.

One quick way to tell is to look at the exhaust tips. One tip is 180 hp and 2 is the 225. Unless, of course, someone has done some modding....

that's easy...2 tips.  So I run up on a awd with a 5 spd and it be 225 hp...if it has a stock 2 tip exhaust.  Thanks for some quick feed back.

225 hp car have 6 sped transmissions - not 5 speeds

thanks...6 spd...twin tip...even I can remember that.  The sti and wrx were much easier to distingush.
