Help me please
Up to Audi TT Forum
KBB put the value at $11-$13K for private party, excellent condition, given the low miles. But, like the others said, $14K is really pushing the upper limit. If it were me, I'd advertise at 12.9 and be prepared to take 11-12K. Low mileage TTs are extremely rare and do command a higher dollar. That same TT with over 100K miles is worth several thousands less. Mileage does matter.
Expect it to take several weeks to sell. 11-12 for a niche car is still a lot of money in this economy. if your friend does not NEED to sell it and it doesn't sell by late october, I'd recommend he keep it for another 6 months and then put it on the market next march/april as weather warms up. it should still be low mileage and will still command top dollar.
good luck,
cheers.

Thanks for all the advice you have all been very helpful. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Trust me if he could hang on to this car forever he would. Unfortunately, sometimes life doesn't give you that luxury. I should be getting pictures from him soon and will posted it on the website. I don't think I am describing the color very accurately because it is a sweat looking car. However, I don't think the paint is worth an extra 2 grand.
One more question, I will post it on this site but are there any others sites you would recommend posting it on?

I agree completely with ttq2k2 on this... as I previously stated. I paid top dollar for my 01 tt 225 simply because it only had 49,000 miles on it.
as far as other sites, i'd say audi-forums.com, autotrader.com, your local news paper (both print ad and online), etc. Any free publication you can find is obviously worth your time invested. I always had good luck with local school newspapers... especially if you live near an area with a higher class family oriented school. Since no one is going to get approved for a $12,000 loan on a 2001 car, targetting individuals with cash is best.
