Need help to pass inspection..I have a 2001 tt quattro with only 17,000 miles ..having code p1128 come on.. first time I ran a fuel addative thru a tank of gas..light back on..next time repaced the MAF ...less than 200 miles cel back...all vac lines look new? hear no leaks?.. help need to pass inspection..Thanks

Bentley says "Long Term FuelTrim multi.,Bank1 system too Lean" Wish I could help you more, perhaps someone else can. Good Luck!!!!

Here's the info from Ross-Tech:

17536/P1128/004392 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor faulty
Oxygen Sensor Control faulty
Oxygen Sensor(s) faulty
Fuel Injector(s) faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
Check Oxygen Sensor Control
Check Oxygen Sensor(s)
Check Fuel Injector(s)

i have the same problem, replaced before and after o2 sensors and cleaned maf with maf cleaner still have
