daytime running light

Posted by Claude Lavoie at March 06. 2010

Hello all, I'm a new member and a new 2002 roaster owner. The car comes from USA. In canada, the DRL are mandatory. I'd like to know how I could modified my car with DRL. Easiest way, most reliable...

Thanks!

Go on ebay. Search Audi tt 8n headlights. They have the right and left headlights that are the R8 style for about 400 dollars. Really cool!

Thanks Vaughn! I understand that those headlights (the R8 style) are really cool. But if my headlights today don't turn on in daytime (when the key switch is on), how would I make these new ones work? Is there any special device required such as an electrical switch box? Is it included with the new headlights?

Did you try a Google search?

I just did and came up with a bunch of hits. Here are two:

Or, have your local Audi dealer make the needed change$.
