Question about radios in 2010 TT Roadsters

I have the 2010 roadster with the premium sound system. Every time I start the car, the radio comes on. I hate that feature. Is there anyway to program it so that it only comes on when you want to listen to the radio? The sales person at the dealer says there is no way to disable this feature. I find that hard to believe.

It can probably be done with a VAGCOM, you can search on google for a vag-com registry of people in your area who have one, and what code you'll need to change. Some people charge like $20 to use their machine, but most people will just do it to help the VAG community.
