Help! the top of my Audi TT will not go back up.

Well, I own a 2001 Audi TT convertible, the top used to go up and down just normally few months ago, now it only goes down as normal but! when I try to put it back up, it has a very hard time doing it, sometimes it won't even go up at all, it will just make noises as if it was doing it. Now I have to do it manually, and I don't think it looks good when you do it manually. Anybody having the same PROBLEM?
