I purchased an '04 225hp TT coupe that has a damaged front end and intake manifold.

I am looking at swapping the cams and intake manifold, as well as getting the typical bolt on mods like, a "chip", 3" exhaust (down pipe and complete exhaust), front mount intercooler, etc.

Does anyone know of any cams, and intake manifold that are worth swapping over from stock ?

I have read that some people use an AEM head. What is an AEM head and what are the bennefits compared to a stock unit ?

Any info would be much appreciated

I whne Cat cams 3651 which is a mild street cam.  There are a few intake up grades well out there depending on what your for must people don't normal upgrad the intake unless they are upgrading the turbo as well.

I got my cams from Bob at  http://www.qedpower.com, he's a nice guy to deal with. You should drop him a email since usually his prices are better than whats posted on his web site. 

Another place you might want to check out is http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=27. You will find some good information but just take your time and read throught everything.
