TT for Golfers?
Up to Audi TT Forum
I just looked at a 2002 TT roadster and was surprised to find that the trunk was too small for my driver to fit. I didn't have my bag and other clubs with me so I don't know if the irons and the bag would fit. It looked like I could put the drivers and woods behind the drivers seat. Anybody on this boaed who have experience with this. My plan was to use the TT as a touring car that needed to carry one or two soft suitcases and the small golf carry bag and clubs.
Also, I didn't drive it because of the above problem. In my previous looks at other options I found the Boxster to have a nice comfortable ride whilr the Z4 was too firm. Can anyone with experience with these other cars comment on the ride comparison.

I have a 3.2 with the S-Line suspension and 18-in rims - ride is on par with my brother's old Boxster. It might be a little harsher because of the 18s. HTH
Check one out, It looked to me like a golf bag would go in there easy.
The golf bag issue is one of the very few things I don't like about my 04 3.2L TT Coupe. It was quite a surprise to find the golf bag didn't fit in the trunk area. However, I can fold down one of the rear seats (which are useless BTW) and get them in. Other than that it does have a surprising amount of space for luggage as long as it's not to long.
On the ride issue, I do find the ride a bit stiff for a long drive.
The ragtop has a dedicated well that does not intrude on the trunk space, and the trunk extends well forward UNDER the ragtop well, with a good clearance.
I was amazed when I saw it... the largest trunk I have seen on any soft top sports car.
