Audi 24-Hour Roadside Assistance - useless

Yeh they are worthless when it comes to car info. That is not their role. All you are doing is calling a clerk who dispatches tow trucks. They do this for a variety of services, not only Audi.
Your experience just confirms my strong feelings that I will never own a car with run-flats. Unless all of you driving is within 50 miles of home or you live in a large metroploitan area, run-flats are worthless. They are only good for about 50 miles with no air, the garage you might get to has to have special equipment to change them (not your standard tire changer). they are expensive to buy (if you can find them at all if you are in the boondocks and only need 1), and they give a stiff ride. Living in the SW with often over a 100 miles to the next town, I just can't risk riding on them. If a car does not have at least a donut, I'm not buying.
