Underdrive pulleys/light weight pulley's
Up to Audi TT Forum
I am looking at purchasing light weight pulleys from ECS Tuning for my TT.
I have heard good and bad things about light weight pulley's, but no one can say why they are bad.
Has anyone had bad experiences with these or any other light weight pulleys ?
Thanks
Rick
You again!
I have light weight pulleys on my 04, just the stearing and main camshaft pulley I don't think they make one for the alt. I haven't had a single problem with them aside from a squeal which turned out to be the belt. I truthfully don't know how much they improve performance, but I know the factory pulleys were 3-4 times heavier than the light weight ones I used.

...then you might look at lightweight pulleys. I think you're best bet for performance improvement is the put that towards one of the above first, not to mention suspension upgrades which can really improve the TT's handling. Again, I'm not sure of what you've done already, just my $0.02. Save driving!

Hey Jay,
Yes, its me again !!
my car has an APR 3" turbo back exhaust, APR chip, APR intake hose, Neuspeed intake, front mount intercooler, intake manifold spacer, N75 race valve, 007 diverter valve, lowering springs, wheel spacers(15mm and 25mm).
So, there is not much more I can do to the motor as for "bolt" on goodies !
