i have a 2001 audi tt 1.8T roadster, i have done alot of maintenance on it and i just recently had an engine swap on it for a new one since my last engine had eaten up half of my spark plug into its cylinder, just recently my car was working fine and today it didnt want to start i turn the key try to turn it on and hear the starter engaging and turning the flywheel but dont want to catch on i tougth it might be the fuel system so i checked the fuse and the fuel pump relay and both are good, my next guess is the fuel pump. The only thing is that i dont know where it is located and how to test it to make sure if its getting power to it for a bad ground or test the pump to make sure it needs replacement, if any one can help id appreciate it or if other tips on what might be the problem.
