When I put up the top on the TT, the warning light for "soft top" comes on and then blinks as I am driving.  When I put the top down, warning light goes off.  I have checked while putting up the top and everything is secure (locked in place).  Anyone have any ideas?

Common problem.  There is a small microswitch in the mechanism where the top latches above the driver.  When the latch is closed, yours is barely engaging the microswitch.  Cleaning, bending the latch slightly or adding some tape will solve the problem.

I chopped the sides off a nickel and epoxied it onto the switch latch.  This gave it the extra thickness to be engaged earlier and push the switch far enough to indicate engagement.  As mentioned the latch switch is on the driver's side at the top of the windshield frame - you'll see a little pocket where the roadster pin drops in and the latch swings over to engage the switch.
