i want to know if 16x7 with about 40mm offset wheel fit in 00 TT fwd
since the front brake look like very big..not sure if will clear..thx

If it's a coupe you might get two of them to fit in, three if you use the passenger seat as well. But be careful not to damage the interior in the process.

I know that some Audi TT came with 16" wheels. The factory wheels were 16x7 with a 31mm offset. Here are some pictures:

I own a 2006 Audi TT S-Line 3.2 Quattro... I am in the process of fitting 16 X 6 steel wheels (Audi model no.STL58736U10) with 195/60R-16 winter tires. I live up a 3.5 mile long dirt/gravel driveway with over 1000 feet elevation gain. When it snows, its treacherous; when it freezes, it is scary! We will hopefully turn Mr.TT into Mr. Mountain Goat...
