Valve cover leak / cam shaft seal leak

dealer said that engine (1.8 180hp) had a small leak that they could see up on the block but couldnt tell if it was the cam seal or the valve cover. It appears that this would be about a 400 dollar fix. Anyone know what the procedure would be to change out these seals and do the valve cover also. I saw t where someone posted a step by step for the Timing belt change out. can someone do that for the valve cover and cam seals That would be greatly appreciated.
