Car has about 10,000 miles on it. Yesterday the center display started flashing "Bal /M" and then that would shut off and be replaced by "#225". These would alternate about every second. I got to my appointment and when I got back in the car 30 minutes later, all was normal. The Audi dealer was next door and I explained what had happened. They were able to reproduce the condition by messing with the buttons on the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel. They put the car on the computer and all codes were normal. They had never seen this and have no idea what the condition means. The car is normal today and ran normally yesterday. Anyone ever heard of a situation like this?

Update. This seems to have been one of those Audi random glitches. It has not re-appeared.
