Air conditioning recharge?
Up to Audi TT Forum
Mine took about a half a can. Works great now and yeah, it's pretty obvious where to plug in when you pop the hood.
I'm trying to recharge my AC but can't find the port. I know, stupid question. I'm assuming someone else did it and replaced the blue cap with something less obvious.
If someone could post/send me a picture showing the port, or the bently diagram, I would really appreciate it. And yes, I own the bently manual, but I just installed windows 7 and haven't gotten a chance to install the bently software yet (I own the DVD, not the paper copy).

I charged mine up a bit this weekend. My low port is not blue. So this may be why John is having trouble. Mine is black. If you are standing under the hood facing the car, it is on the left hand side, up front near the radiator, just under the trim. It's about 1/2 inch in diameter. Attaching the meter is tricky under the trim. Good luck!

Thanks for the help Dan.
Just put the gauge on mine, and it seems I have a problem besides needing a recharge. Gauge is reading around 100 psi on the low side, with the AC running, etc. Has anyone had this problem?
