I strongly encourage you to get a new DV...Other than that the chip is the best investment you could make. Msot BHP for the $.
APR is extremely reliable!

Any reason you are not going with the 93 Octane program. If you have an '02 or later you should be able to get the direct port programing. Just change the program from the cruise stalk, stock, 93, 100, valet.

I kept the stock DV after getting the APR programming before replacing it for quite a while. The new DV doesn't make much difference. I really couldn't see any significant change on the boost gauge. But the programming is a big difference. Max bost with the stock program is about 15 while its aroung 22 on the 93 program.

Thanks all.
Joe,
I have an 06 225Q with 5500 miles. Pondering the possible loss of warranty because of mods, I know about the cruise stalk use. Dealer in Bend,or. (their accessories dept) will install. He said that the 91 program is the safest,

I have an 03 225. Had the programming done back in 05. No problems at all with the 93 progran. You can get a lock out program which according to APR makes the programming invisible to the dealer. I just make sure I put it back in the stock program when ever I take it to the dealer.

Hi Blue

I got the following chip 2 years ago and only had to change the Diverter Valve ...

I've actually never step it down again ... I didn't actually chip it just reprogrammed.

There is a 225 version also.

Hope this help
