what are the top 5 things i can do to make the car more reliable?

i just bought a 2000 180hp. im not too worried about performance parts just yet. id like ot what know steps i can take to make the car last.

id appreciate any assistance. thanks

Be sure all of your fluids are on the up and up!
Keep a sharp eye on your timing belt!
Don't rag on the the turbo hard then turn the car off, allow the turbo to cool slowly before shutting down!
Give her lots of love!
