2001 TT maintenance costs

My brother is thinking about buying an amulet red 2001 TT (225HP w/quattro). It has 112k miles on it, buyer is asking $12,000.
He has receipts for everything done over the last few years; these show that he's just put in a new timing belt + water pump, new brake pads and new tires on the car last month.
The car is in nice shape with the exception of a 1/2" blemish in the plastic part immediately below the driver's side rear tail light.
Is $12,000 a good price?
Over the next five years/60k miles, what is likely to go wrong? The clutch and turbo are both original and have never needed service.
If he were to get it, how much should he budget for maintenance/repairs every month?

2002 TT with 52 000 miles on it i though that timeing belts where supposed to be changed at 60 000. I call the dealer to make an app. and he told me this model would go up to 106 000 miles befor it needed to be changed but did not suggest i wait that long. This car sits all winter does age have any thing to decide when this belt should be changed if so when should i change this belt. THANKS.
My TT has less then 100K miles, and I've already had to have turbo replaced.
12 is an ok price.
price it at kbb.com
and always have money for an unexpected repair.
It happens.
