What's broken on your TT so far?
Up to Audi TT Forum
These are items that were replaced under the CPO:
First it was my brake fluid leaking and the dealer saying it wasn't even though i had to fill it up 3 times before another dealer found the leak in the master clutch cyl.
At the same time as the replacement of the master clutch cyl. had them replace the front strut bar because it was making this noise everytime i went over a bump or turned.
Had my engine rebuild after it blew on me because of a hole in cyl #4, but they did not replace the turbo. Regional Rep would not pay for the whole engine to be replaced because it was $200 more in the end if he did that.
These are items broken now or need to be replaced:
My glove box handle broke almost a year ago and yet to replace it
Need new brakes
Burns a lot of oil (sometimes 3 quarts between changes)
My front pass side turn single went out on me but somehow came back to life
Had to get a new battery but it's just a tad shorter then the stock one so i had to take the battery cover on the sides off. Need to replace the screws for the top too.
That's all for what has happened in the past year and a half. Bought the 2001 tt 225 with 50k on it and now have 77k.

I keep on hearing about the glove box problem.... I try to stay away from opening it too often! Bizarre!
Wouldn't be surprised if your turn signal failed completely one day. Make sure you look up DIY info on Google, it's an incredibly easy fix.
Just paid $300 to replace my rear rotors and brake pads. Stock rotors can't be machined down.

bought my 01 tt225 with just under 40k miles... needed the water pump replaced the weekend after I bought the car, and a clutch within a month after. Everything else has been my fault. Also, bout with glove box latch missing, still have not fixed. Passenger side door latch began malfunctioning (easy fix). What is this I hear about them burning oil??? Does anyone know what causes it(stem seals or rings?). Im a vw/audi tech, and try to prevent everything before it happens.
How did I know the MAF sensor is going? The dealer diagnosed this one. Symptoms: cel lit up, (1128 lean code) Occasinal (rare) cold acceleration problems, and occasinal rough idle. Interesting side note - Napa sells a can of "Mass air sensor cleaner". I bought a can tonight, I'll add an update if it works when applied this weekend...
