Earliest Timing Belt Failure?

There seems to be a bit of confusion concerning the replacement of the timing belt. I've seen at least a couple of quotes stating the replacement recommendation is 105 miles. Don't confuse the ribbed belt with the timing belt. They are not the same. Ribbed Belt (acc. drive) is 105k miles.
Timing belt, depending on year, is 60-65K.
