Hi guys,

I'm trading in my 180HP for a great deal on a 250HP V6 in 5 days! Any suggestions re: inspection of the new car. Very excited!

The car is new from the dealer (never been registered). It is a 2005 model. It is in a "small" town and they were not able to sell it last year.

Small-town car-buying, eh? Lucky you. If the car is being sold "new", then you hardly have anything to be concerned about -- full factory warranty, yes? I've had my 3.2 almost exactly two years now, and there have only been minor service issues. Only big thing was the top was replaced to fix a broken defroster -- but everything so far has been covered by Audi. And since you're an 05, you won't have to worry about the DSG seals (there was a recall on the very early DSG cars).
