Which 18 inch wheels?
Up to Audi TT Forum
I am thinking of going with some 18 inch wheels but there are so many choices out there.
Can anyone recommend a nice looking wheel that goes well with a Silver TT Coupe?
Tire choices are much easier. Toyo T1-R or S is my first choice in Summer Tires followed by perhaps the Pirelli P- Zero's.
Any pics of some Silver TT's with aftermarket tires would be nice. You can send them directly to my home E-Mail at tsmith1222@sbcglobal.net
Thank you!

When shopping for rims or any modifications money should be no object...but for those that have to consider cost, any recommendations?
ASA's are on the affordable side, but what else?

Call Tire rack. Also, avoid Pirelli. My silver 3.2TT had 18 inch wheels and P Zeros when deliverd. The first tire sidewall bubble appeared in Nov 2003 at only 2000 miles! Minor potholes eat these tires. Pirelli America made a bunch of promises but after 4 months of bugging the local distributor that they direcected me to, and repeated calls to Pirelli America, my replacement tire never showed up. The tread also wears pretty quickly. At 14000 miles when I took them off last fall they are now junk. Worn tread and bubbles on all four tires. When my 17 inch winter tires come off this summer I will be looking to get a 45 or 50 profile if it will fit (or possibly selling the 18 inch wheels)
Let me know if you want to seel those 18 inch rims.
If the price is right I might be interested.

Plenty of pics in this site's Photo Gallery of the 9 spoke 18 inch wheels that came standard on the 2002 ALMS TT.
I recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, check them out at the Tire Rack site, great new tread pattern, quite different from the original Michelin Pilot Sport.
