I have a 2001 TT Quatro Roadster... is it going to be worth more because its a 1st year model? It was made in January of 2001 which is the first year they made them...
A bit... but you would have to market it as a first generation Roadster...
It probably also depends on the time. Is it worth more now? Not much. Is it worth more in 10-20 years? I would think so.

Not at all. I am offering my professiona opinion. I work for Audi/VW/Porche. I drive the 2000 TT 180 Q, with of course some fancy mods. Fact is that if you have a 2001 roadster and a 2002 roadster ten years from now the 01 has 80,000 miles on it and the 02 has 70,000 miles on it they are both about 10 years old. The fact that one has possibly less miles (it may not at that time) is beside the point. They are both old cars and wont show a difference in resale 10 years from now.
