Best Chip

Wow. Thats good news. My only concern is I don't want to damage any components more than I regular wear and tear. I just need the more power. I heard that I might have to replace the DV... is that true? Do you think you would recommend APR over MTM? Thanks for the info....
I just put in the Wetterauer chip, and I can tell you I am COMPLETELY satisfied. The performance increase is quoted for my 180hp FWD TT to have improved to 210hp, and a torque went from 207lbs/ft to 244lbs/ft. The customer service is excellent, and I had the ECU back in 2 days after sending it off. I don't know what the best chip is, but I can say with complete satisfaction you will not be disappointed with this chip if you were to decide to go with it. Also, they will offer us a $100 discount off the normal $499 price if you mention you are a member of this club. I delt with Kelly Kay who is the general manager (kelly.kay@chip-tuning.com) and she was excellent to deal with.
When I put the chip in, I could instantly notice quicker throttle response, and when the turbo spooled up, it put me back in the seat so much harder, I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. Probably the most noticable difference was when I could pass cars faster leaving it in 5th gear then I could previous to the chip, even downshifting to 4th. I have noticed no drawbacks yet, and I even noted better gas milage when I drove normally!
Oh, and iaing, the company is out of germany, so you should be able to get pleanty of local support in the UK too, I would go to www.chip-tuning.com to find out your local dealer there.
