Best Chip

I have a 2001 TT Roadster Quattro with 225HP. I want to get a chip for it, but I am trying to figure out which chip is going to be the best that wouldn't overwork the engine. A chip similar to AutoTech for VDubs...

I don't know about "best chip" but there are a lot of chips out there. Mostly you have decide if you care about the features of the chip or just want the power.

The GIAC chip is pretty well known and trusted and the new X version gets it up to almost 270 Hp and 300 torque.

I was wondering the same thing, but since I don't live in the US, and wanted a locally supported chip, my options were very limited! So this left me with APR as my chip of choice (93 Octane - 263hp/267lb-ft) and I'm doing the flash tomorrow. I'll let u know how she purrs after it's done :)

Well I decided not to chip my TT in the end but a friend of mine did his. The improvement was amazing! The phrase "Yaahoo!" was the first thing to come to mind when I took his TT just over 6000rpm. A smooth ride and loads of power and fun... :)

It is really a big boost... I would say somewhere on the "new car" feel. :)
