The Audi TT Car Club of America mobile got underway around 4:40 AM on Thursday June 2nd and didn't pull into the Chattanoogan Hotel till around seven that night. After a 826 mile drive the TT needed some cleaning but the driver needed food and drink much more.

Since we had done the Dragon's Tail drive in 2002, we headed over to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN to go for a tour and bring home a few bottles of goodness. David, our tour guide, was very authentic and kept the group laughing for the full hour tour. After the tour most of us wandered into the town center to shop for all of the Jack Daniel's gear we could get our hands on.

Saturday morning the photo shoot was a blast as all these TTs were herded into a small space for a great set of pictures. As tradition demands, we all set off the alarms at the end of the event.

TT-East 2005 wrapped up at the banquet on Saturday night as food, drinks and raffle prizes were handed out for hours. It seemed like most everyone won something but those who were truly lucky got a little love from the car club.

Thanks to everyone and especially the organizers for making TT-East 2005 another hit. Next year I expect the spots to fill up like a Rolling Stones concert.
